What You Will Do :

The Project Control Analyst -Senior Consultant will report directly to an account Director and provide contract cost management oversight and controls. The Project Control Analyst-Senior Consultant will collect, consolidate, analyze, and report on resource assignment, execution and the financial status of multiple task orders supporting a multi-billion-dollar project.

The Project Control Analyst will:

  • Collaborate with senior Program Managers to lead the cost management analysis, evaluation of staff allocation, identify delivery risks, and determine impact on cost management.

  • Analyze financial status reports as the prime contractor, integrate subcontractors’ delivery, and conduct trend analysis and projections of resource allocation and expenditure.

  • Collaborate with Project Task Managers to make certain resource allocation, work authorization, level of effort allocations, and delivery activities are clearly understood. Monitor funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections.

  • Support senior Program Managers with data analysis and the management of documentation to support award fee discussion at client award fee boards.

  • Develop and analyze detailed estimate to complete (ETCs)/estimates at completion (EACs) for assigned projects and participate in EAC meetings with senior Program Managers to review project status, staffing, and identify potential funding risks.

  • Participate in month-end financial reporting close activities. Assist in the review and validation of invoices.

  • Perform miscellaneous financial analysis and continually assess and improve financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies.

What You Will Need :

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance; or higher.

  • Bachelor’s degree; FOUR (4) or more years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree.

  • FIVE (5) plus years of professional experience in a project control, budgeting, or finance related field supporting Federal or DoD projects.

  • Must be able to work at contractor site in Clearfield, UT.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced formulas and their use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment.

  • Ability to travel.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, accounting, finance, statistics or related discipline.

  • Earned Value Professional (EVP) training or certification.

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and present strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to be a highly organized team player, detail oriented, and ready to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
