Guidehouse Revenue Cycle Support - Team Lead in BIRMINGHAM, Alabama

What You Will Do :

As a Team Lead, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties to the third party recovery function of the Managed Services Organization. Such duties may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assists Third Party Supervisor/Manager/Director in coordinating all activities related to the Third Party

  • Facilitate Team meetings

  • Processes daily Paper Claims work files

  • Reviews & help with the work of Third Party Reps and provides training and feedback based upon reviews

  • Assisting in the implementation of current and new standards and guidelines Routinely assists employees in the area to help ensure performance goals are met and answers Reps questions whenever possible

  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor/manager .

What You Will Need :

  • High School Diploma and 3- 5 years of relevant experience. (Relevant experience may be substituted for education.)

  • Proven communications skills (written and oral)

  • Basic computer skills

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • 1-5 years of related experience in insurance billing, customer service-related field or educational equivalent.

  • Entry level management experience a plus.

  • General knowledge of payer specific or medical specialty billing.

  • Organizational and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.
